The Christkindl Angel is a tradition of this type of market. A local young girl will be crowned before the market opens and reign throughout the event. Young guests will be able to meet the Christkindl Angel throughout the weekend as well as Santa and Mrs. Claus, who will be available for photos.

Back again will be our Elf School, taught by local elves and our Christkindl Angel. A parade of lanterns throughout the Granger Homestead property will take place featuring children and possibly Saint Nick himself.

Several of our antique carriages will be available for rides (weather permitting) each afternoon of the festival weekend. These memorable rides will begin in front of the Elf School and are available for $5 per person.

The Granger Homestead opens its Festival of Trees will also be this weekend also. For a small additional fee, you can view decorated trees, wreaths and other seasonal decorations donated by local businesses, groups and individuals. Many items will be available through a silent auction. Don't miss the much-anticipated Bake Sale, that is put on by the Granger Homestead Women's Council, located on the back porch of the mansion. What a great way to start your holiday treats collection.
